Every action requires money, so remember to maintain an appropriate state of the treasury. When you choose a character from your court, all possible actions for the selected character will be highlighted. In the next turn, the empty candidate places will be filled up with randomly generated characters. There will never be a lack of candidates, but you can only accept three during any given turn. After being chosen, they will become part of the court. If you intend to set up a new army or assign a new provincial governor, and you no longer have available characters, 3 candidates will be presented to you. It will be met with severe punishment from your biological siblings, but if you do not have children or brothers, or they have hopeless statistics, it can be a wise and necessary solution. You can also adopt a statesman (meaning someone from outside the family) and appoint him as heir to the throne. You can change the heir to the throne to another member of your family, but the predecessor loses a few loyalty points. This way, you can strengthen the ties between two nations.
You can marry your daughters off to someone from your court or to members of other kingdoms. The faction leader may intervene in this situation and annul their marriage, but this will be met with certain penalties, such as loss of influence or loyalty. You can choose your own wife yourself, but other unmarried characters will, from time to time, inform you about a planned wedding. Here you can also take action against any character in the kingdom.Īny family member or statesman who has a wife can enlarge his family.
